
I wonder whether it is financial constrain or their love for the music, which is compelling Spice Girls to reunite and hit the floor once gain. Nevertheless, it is good news for their fans and music lovers. It is expected that the Spice Girls would make a comeback around Christmas.
A source close to the band told:
It should be happening in December. Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice and Emma have been in the studio writing new material and they want to do a worldwide tour.
Earlier it was speculated that the band would be performing on Princess Diana memorial concert on July 1 but that has been ruled out, as one of the band members - Emma, is pregnant.
The Spice Girls, BRIT Award-winning English all female pop group, was formed in 1994 in London.
Its debut single, ‘Wannabe, 1996, took the music world by storm and overnight the band became a hit. Wannabe sold more than 53 million records, establishing the group as one of the most commercially successful and influential female bands.
The band’s glorious days came to end when in 1998, Geri Halliwell announced her departure from the Spice Girls. Little dishearten in November 2000 The Spice Girls sans Geri released their final album, Forever, but it fell flat on many charts.
