U2 have taken a stand against politicians using tickets to their concerts as fundraisers. It was revealed that Senator Rick Santorum and Hillary Clinton have both offered tickets to suites at upcoming shows of U2 as ways to make contributions to their political campaigns.
The band has issued a statement that U2 concerts are categorically not fundraisers for any politicians. They are Rock concerts for U2 fans.
