The rhythm guitarist of the modern rock band, Casey Calvert, passed away in his sleep on Friday night. At the time of his death, Calvert was aboard the band’s tour bus.
Casey Calvert reportedly had an amazing heart and was one of the best screamers in the music industry of all time. His unforeseen demise has left one and all, especially all Hawthorne Heights fans, in deep grief.
Calvert has left behind his family, including his pregnant wife. His fellow band-members, Matt, Eron, JT and Micah have also expressed their shock and grief over their colleague’s sudden and unexpected death. Calvert was the bassist in the Hawthorne Heights band, and there has been no ruling yet regarding the cause of his death.
However, it is reported that Calvert suffered from asthma, and that might have been responsible for his demise.
Calvert was renowned as an incredible performer with an amazing heart. He was also a much-loved bandmate, husband and friend. Hawthorne Heights, in their website, HawthorneHeights.com, has posted the following message as a mark of their love and respect towards Casey Calvert:
Today is probably the worst day ever. Its with our deepest regrets that we have to write this. Casey Calvert passed away in his sleep last night. We found out this afternoon before sound-check. We’ve spent the entire day trying to come to grips with this and figure out as much as possible. At this time we’re not sure what exactly happened. Just last night he was joking around with everyone before he went to bed. We can say with absolute certainty that he was not doing anything illegal. Please, out of respect to Casey and his family, don’t contribute or succumb to any gossip you may hear. We don’t want his memory to be tainted in the least. Casey was our best friend. He was quirky and awesome and there will truly be no others like him! His loss is unexplainable. As soon as we know more we will let you know.
Nobody would have expected Casey Calvert to pass away so suddenly. With Calvert’s death, the entire world of rock music has suffered a great loss. Calvert was a true genius in his field, and the void created by his sudden demise would be difficult, if not impossible, to fill soon.
