The group recently performed their breakthrough hit Roxanne at the opening of the Grammy Awards ceremony.

Arthur Fogel, tour manager announced,

The anticipation and excitement to see The Police is overwhelming and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of bringing the band to their fans worldwide.

Details of the tour will be made public at the famed Whisky A Go Go nightclub in West Hollywood where the trio band will play a few songs.

The Police ended their seven-year run following their 1984 world tour for the album ‘Synchronicity,’ which included the Grammy-winning song of the year ‘Every Breath You Take.’

The group plans to stick to Police material and not include Sting’s solo hits. Tickets for the North American leg will range from US$50 to US$225 (euro38 to euro173).
