Legendary 1980’s rock group inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame and last played together in 2003 are to play at the Los Angeles Grammy Awards on February 11, according to a statement on Sting’s website.
The Police are secretly rehearsing in Vancouver for a major appearance on the 2007 Grammy Awards.

Sting along with drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers’s performance comes 30 years after the release of The Police’s first single, Fall Out.
Best known for smash hits including ‘Every Breath You Take,’ ‘Roxanne,’ ‘Don’t Stand So Close To Me’ and the 1983 album ‘Synchronicity,’ The Police won five Grammy Awards in their time, but split in 1984.
Recently Sting told the Television Critics Associations that he and fellow former members were discussing what to do to mark their 30th anniversary.
He said,
It would be nice to do something to celebrate. We don’t quite know what, but we’re talking about it.
