The Boss, Bruce Springsteen took a more political note this summer at his U.S. tour on Saturday. He sang folk tunes like We Shall Overcome an anthem of the U.S. civil rights movement and Bring Them Home an anti-war song dating to the Vietnam War era. Breaking betweens songs he went into an Anti-Bush statement regarding Katrina mishandling :

I’ve never seen anything like it in any American city destruction. He managed to gut the only agency, through political cronyism, that could help people at a time like this.




Here is one concerned singer. When questions about the silence of the bands on political issues are looming large, it is so welcoming to hear rocker Bruce Springsteen voicing his opinion. With an influecncce as strong as his, I am sure none of the Amercans would think of boycotting The Boss for President Bystander.
