Reformed boy-band Take That stole the show by winning at the Brits while the old bandmate Robbie Williams missed the chance as he was thousands of miles away in rehab.
The band won a Brit award for comeback track ‘Patience,’ voted by the public.
And an Outstanding Contribution to Music award was received by Oasis.
In typical rebellious style, Liam said of the award,

The band closed the night by performing some of their most famous hits ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol,’ ‘Morning Glory,’ ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger,’ and ‘Rock and Roll Star.’
Lilly Allen was nominated for the three awards but couldn’t make any one of them.
Take That band performed ‘Patience’ on the stage as they pick up their best British single award.
