It’s not yet all over between ex-lovers Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Reports have it that Duran Duran song ‘Falling Down’ written by Justin is based on Britney’s fall. Inititally spread as a rumour, the bands drummer Roger Taylor has partly confirmed the song by Timberlake based on ex Britney.
Partly confirming the speculations Taylor said,
I suppose it’s loosely based on her, but not only on one celebrity - just celebrity culture in general. A lot of young celebrities seem to disappear into rehab. So it’s kind of like, what could be happening in your wildest dream in that rehab center?
Like any other celebrity, Timberlake denied the rumoured intention of writing the song keeping his ex in mind. Though this denial, the video that was premiered on Yahoo music last month indicated otherwise. It is very evident from the look of the video that a Britney look alike has been used as the model portraying a starlet who checked into a rehab.
Falling Down is the lead single of the bands latest album ‘Red Carpet Massacre’. Justin Timberlake and production guru Timbaland have collaterally provided aid to the production and writing of some of the tracks in the album. Duran Duran will be seen performing live on December 3rd at London’s Lyceum Theatre in front of a 2,000 capacity audience.
Fans of the band will be delighted with the bands latest album. As for the on going issues and rumours surrounding Britney Spears ever since her breakoff with Timberlake, one can only wait for the tide to pass by.
