Singer Rihanna has continued to rule the UK singles charts by her mesmerizing voice as she remained at number one with Umbrella for the seventh week.

The 19-year-old had a tough challenge with Kate Nash who entered at two with Foundations.

The new entry to the top five was the rock band, The Enemy that entered the charts at number four with Had Enough.

In the album charts the Editors’ An End Has a Start was at number one place which had taken last week’s White Stripes place whereas Kelly Clarkson’s My December debuted at two.

The comeback album of Icky Thump, Meg and Jack White’s that was recorded in just three weeks came down to number four from one.

Latest album of Dame Shirley Bassey Let’s Get The Party Started entered the charts at six.

Enrique Iglesias’s Do You Know remained steady at number three whereas the talent show winner Lee Mead’s Any Dream Will Do rounded at the top five.

The Klaxons saw the highest climb going up by six place as it reached from 20 to number 13 while indie stars the Arctic Monkeys could manage to get into the chart at number 32 with Flourescent Adolescent.
