British rock band the Rolling Stones, which will be performing in countries like Serbia and Ukraine for the first time, has announced the dates of their European tour.
The tour titled Bigger Bang, will have 27 shows, starting from June 5 in Werchter, Belgium and the last one being a homecoming gig in London on August 21.
While announcing the tour dates on a webcast, the 63-year-old frontman Mick Jagger insisted that he was not at all scared of the exhausting itinerary, saying,
I never get tired.
The band, known for chart toppers like ‘Brown Sugar’ and ‘Paint It, Black’, suffered a health scare the last year as guitarist Keith Richards fell off a coconut tree while holidaying Fiji.
On the webcast, Jagger joked that there would be no such accidents during the tour,
I’ll nail him to the nearest room. I don’t think he will be climbing any palm trees.
Members of the Rolling Stones’ fan club can buy tickets for some dates from March 23, and the general public can buy them from March 27, but the dates might vary depending on the availability of the venue.
