Pop singer Ricky Martin, during a concert in San Juan, Puerto Rico, stuck his finger out when he mentioned President Bush’s name in his song ‘Asignatura Pendiente’ that include words ‘a photo with Bush’. His gesture provoked cheers from thousands of fans.
The 35-year-old singer, who sang and danced with Bush at his 2001 Inaugural Ball, criticized Bush following the Iraq war.
Martin said,
My convictions of peace and life go beyond any government and political agenda and as long as I have a voice onstage and offstage, I will always condemn war and those who promulgate it.
Well Martin must be appreciated for expressing himself without fear!
