The multi-millionaire who fell so much in love with China during his first visit, has proposed to write 2008 Beijing Olympics’ theme song for free though martial arts star, Jackie Chan wants to pay him.
Jiang Xiaoyu, vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, welcomes his gesture, but wants to continue the theme writing competition till early 2008 - he believes Quincy’s participation would inspire more people to take part.
Quincy has worked with stars like Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald.
