Rocker/junkie Pete Doherty missed out on his own wedding to supermodel Kate Moss earlier in August as a result of being incarcerated. Doherty was stuck in London after a judge ruled that he must attend rehab in order to make bail for cocaine and heroin charges.
Singer Pete Doherty has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of possessing crack cocaine, this one is the latest added to the long list of drug charges of the Babyshambles singer who was held after officers saw him driving his Jaguar erratically near his home in east London. But he must return in December.
I just can’t help but shake my head at the crazy and dangerous behavior of musician Pete Doherty. The 27-year-old small-minded head of the London rock’s current smack and crack massive is currently waiting judgment on separate drug charges in December - the latest in a long list.
There are concerns now he might get a custodial sentence, as only an apparently futile stress on rehabilitation has saved him so far. Most gravely, this could crash on his planned wedding to rock-star loving supermodel Kate Moss.
