Music and movies will make a great couple if they are married. Recently, a bunch of singers and movie folks joined hands together in order to applause the harmony between music and movies. Among them are Carrie Underwood, Stacy Fergusson, Beyonce Knowles, Elton John and Mary J. Bilge.
These musicians and singers are supposed to sing as well as play the soundtracks to classic movies. This is an effort to appreciate the film music. This particular event will take place on December 2 at the Kodak theater. CBS will air it in the U.S. for couple of hours.
The concert is going to be a production of the Conde Nast media group. Most of the following songs will be played at the concert:
* ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ - Beyonce Knowles
* ‘The Sound of Music’ from movie of the same title - Carrie Underwood
* ‘Goldfinger’ from James Bond movie of the same title - Jennifer Hudson
* ‘Live and Let Die’ from James Bond movie of the same title - Fergie
* ‘As Time Goes By’ from ‘Casablanca’ - John Legend and Mary J. Blige (duet)
* Music from animated films - Elton John
Hopefully this will be a great event in the U.S. Too bad I am not there to party it up with the superstars. I think they should have included music from the Titanic as well. Soon enough, music and movies will celebrate the awesome big screen years together in one big party!
