The rock star will launch concerts next week in an attempt to promote peace in the West Bank and Israel. Reports have it that these performances will be relayed via satellite to London, Ottawa and Washington.

The New York based One Voice Peace Movement has taken this initiative of a concernt which aims at boosting its campaign to collect signatures from one million ordinary Israelis and Palestines. The motto behind the movement is to finalize and agreement on Palestine State living at peace with Israel.
The head of One Voice’s Ramallah office, Fathi Darwish said,
Adams would launch the West Bank event at a football stadium in the ancient town of Jericho, then head to Tel Aviv to perform. Our goal is to send a message to the world, that the Palestinian people love life, and hope for life and liberation.
The One Voice Peace movement is backed by not only the multiplatinum album star Bryan Adams but also celebrities who will be actively involved in sending messages to the concerts via videolink, organizers. They include Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Rhea Perlman, Danny de Vito and Jason Alexander.
The effort of the movement seems to be at a high scale. The organizers have reached just over half a million signatories to its initiative and aim to reach their goal of one million by the end of the year. This much awaited Bryan Adams concernt is slate on October 18th where the entry will be free for all those who attend, but concertgoers must sign the One Voice petition to gain entrance.
