Mariah Carey continuing her comeback saga won the best album and best single honors at the 20th Annual Soul Train Music Awards.



Carey won three Grammys last month and begged the best female album award for “The Emancipation of Mimi” and best female single for “We Belong Together” at the Soul Train.



Carey said:


“This has been the biggest and most successful year of my life”.




John Legend’s “Get Lifted” won the best male album award and his “Ordinary People” won the best male single award respectively.



Other Awardees:

Kanye West: Best R&B-soul or rap music video for “Gold Digger”

Chris Brown: Best new rap artist for his album “Run It”

Foxx: Quincy Jones Lifetime Achievement Award.

Destiny’s Child: Best-group single for “Cater 2 U” and Quincy Jones Outstanding Career Achievement for women
