madonna to feature in annie lennoxs charity song
Vocalist Annie Lennox who is these days working on her new charity album will be joined by a host of celebrities for the noble cause. The album will feature contributions from 23 ace singers including Shakira, Joss Stone, Dido and Celine Dion.

Madonna is one of the female stars to appear in the album which is slated for an September release. Lennox penned the song after her work with Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Aids charity. The singer’s last solo collection titled ‘Bare’ was released back in 2003.

Other singers featuring in the charity record which will raise funds for the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) include Pink, Fergie, Gladys Knight, Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge and Lennox’s fellow Scottish star KT Tunstall.

Lennox released her first solo album 15 years ago. She also performed at the 46664 concert in South Africa in 2005 to throw light on the plight of women suffering with AIDS. Her credits include four Grammies and 11 Brit awards.
