Lily Allen will perform at this summer’s Concert for Diana. The 21-year-old singer has signed up for the tribute to the late Princess Diana at the new Wembley Stadium on 1 July.
Sir Elton John is set to host the special night, which will include performances from Joss Stone, Pharrell Williams, Rod Stewart, Bryan Ferry and Duran Duran - who were one of Diana’s favourite bands.
Diana’s sons Princes William and Harry have personally approved all the acts for the show - which takes place on what would have been their mother’s 46th birthday.
The first 22,500 tickets sold out within minutes when they went on sale in December.
Extra tickets will be on sale on Friday April 27th at 09:00 BST from the event’s website and all proceeds will go to charities supported by the late princess.
The concert will be shown in 140 countries and will be broadcast on BBC One in the UK. The BBC will also show the live event on big screens around the country.
