kylie minogue back from the jaws of death

Even at 39, Kylie Ann Minogue is one of the most exotic women in the music industry. But it would be unfair to bring too much attention to her looks and beauty when the music that she has been making for almost two decades is top class. With a record sale of over 40 million copies worldwide, it’s hard for anyone to deny the credentials of Kylie to be a leading pop diva.

And now the Australian pop singer-songwriter is set to take the world by storm once more. Out of action for four year in which period she didn’t release any studio album, Kylie is now ready to mesmerize her fans worldwide with her tenth album of her music career. She announced on her website that her new album, titled X, is slated for release on November 10, this year and fans worldwide are now embracing themselves in eager anticipation.

This is of going to be Kylie Minogue’s tenth studio album and the first in four years. X also marks her first album since defeating breast cancer in December 2005. And this new album does promise to something massively huge.

Featuring 13 tracks, X is a collection of top song writers and performers. Guy Chamber and Cathy Dennis combine to pen the lyrics of the track Sensitized which is already being marketing as a sure shot number one. Richard ‘Biff’ Stannard, Bloodshy and Avant too have their signatures on some of the tracks while Kylie herself has co-written 6 of the 13 tracks on this album.

2 Hearts
is rated to be the first single of this album and it does have the words top of the Charts written all over it. But Kylie is not one who is unaccustomed to number one hit single around the world. Can’t Get You Out My Head, Slow and In Your Eyes are just a few of the several top hits that she credits herself with in Australia as well as in Europe, where she is often rated higher than Madonna and is perceived as a sex symbol.

Even a threat to her life from cancer couldn’t bend her mental strength. The Australian singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in the middle of 2005 but she successfully recovered from her illness by the end of the year.

And now she is back with her tenth album X that also has certain symbolist connotations. X is the title of an album from her ex Michael Hutchence’s band INXS. Hutchence was in fact one of the first who supported her during the early part of her career.

So Kylie Minogue, the striking pop artist, is back to where she belongs. She has been out of action for the best part of four years in terms of releasing new albums but now the Kylie Minogue fans, who run into millions worldwide, cannot stay their patience to get a copy of X.
