
Kelly Clarkson is on the brink of making a comeback from apparent musical wilderness. The former American idol winner’s management team has just released her tour schedules that begins in October in Verona, New York and winds up in December in Nashville.
Clarkson released her third studio album “My December” in June, this year and was supposed to go on tour marketing her album two months ago but a plethora of problems cropped up and the American pop singer had to forgo that.
First, she parted with her long time manager Jeff Kwatinetz in June due to creative differences but soon discovered a new manager in Narvel Blackstock and paired up with him. But that coupling up couldn’t escalate the poor ticket sales for her planned tour and thus
But now her management team is convinced that Kelly would be a hit when she goes on tour this October. Born and bred in the small town of Burleson, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth, Kelly’s life made a huge leap in the wake of her win in the 2002 American Idol competition, which actually made its debut that year. After that conquest, she didn’t have to look over her shoulders.
She released her first full-lenght debut album “Thankful” in April, 2003. It was highly rated by music critics and fans alike and reached the pole position of the US Billboard 200 and was eventually certified double platinum for sales of two million copies.
In November, 2004 Kelly Clarkson released her second studio album “Breakaway” which was rock-oriented and featured five US top singles and won two Grammy Awards. Although her third and latest album “My December” is yet to send ripples across the world of music, Kelly Clarkson still remains one of the best American vocalists in the modern age.
