Is Joss Stone’s career under threat? It sounds illogical to me! But, you must have all the inside scoop. Well, the singing sensation, Stone is just 20 (isn’t that incredible) and till now, her career has seen four managers. Reports also say that the British singer was heard saying that she ‘hates them all.’
There are rumors that her furious and often nagging with others plus her attitude can ruin her career graph. Joss is a hit in Britain but instead of her different voice hasn’t been yet able to find a diva status in other places.
She was quoted saying,
I’m never having a manager ever again. I’ve had four in the past five years and I hate them all.
Her one time managers, Alex Cole and Ron Stone who have worked with artists like Bob Dylan, The Eagles and Joni Mitchell said that Joss was immature and didn’t pay heed to advice at all. Stone said,
She’s making a lot of wrong decisions at the moment. If she’s not careful she could derail her career. Joss wants to manage herself but you have to consider her lack of understanding of the challenges in front of her.
There’s no way she can make the sophisticated choices demanded because her life experience is so very limited. She’s a lovely girl, as sweet as can be, attractive and enormously talented, but when it comes to her career she’s convinced she’s right and everyone else over 30 is wrong.
Joss, who has recorded earnings of £6 million, will loose a lot if her career takes a dip.
However, managers like Cole do appreciate her artistic abilities. Joss debuted with her album ‘The Soul Sessions’ when he was just 16, which shot her to fame instantly. Whatever, as a fan of her cool and hip voice, I wish her all the luck, love and success in her life.
Whether her career graphs go down or shoot up, we will definitely keep a watch!
