Knowing a teenager or an adult who is all set to remain a virgin until one discovers true love is hard to find. The times are that mostly youngsters tend to give themselves physically to seek pleasure is pretty common. Day by day it is becoming hard for grown-ups to preserve their chastity for one special person in their life.
But hats off to 17-year-old Jordin Sparks who has promised her to remain virgin till she finds her true love. Though the youngest American Idol champ accepted that at times she also gets tempted but has been able to overcome it by a ‘promise ring’ that bears the inscription ‘True Love Waits’ given by her parents.
Jordin has worn the inspiring ring since she was 13 and plans to keep it on said:
I wasn’t ever forced into [wearing the ring. It’s all about making the right choice and not putting yourself in that situation.
Jordin is single but is looking forward to mingle with someone who makes her laugh a lot. When asked about her dream man she said:
They have to have nice teeth. They could be athletic and sing ... and play and instrument.
Her self-titled debut album is slated for a release on November 20, 2007 on Jive.
