May be its time for Jermaine Dupri as a producer to stick with those who are rising up and not with those who are on the fall in the eyes of music lovers.

No doubt, 20 Y.O. was seen as an opportunity for Jackson to re-establish herself as the multiplatinum hitmaker, which she has been for most of her 20-year-plus career, but her album failing to secure a position at the top of the Billboard 200 charts last month makes it a good reason for Jermaine Dupri to leave the post as a top executive at Jackson’s label, Virgin Records. Not to forget the flat performance of 2004’s Damita Jo and Jackson’s infamous Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction.

Moreover, all comebacks are not Grammy-winning. However, leaving Virgin Records surely doesn’t mean that he’ll be leaving his love Janet.
