Fans of the great jazz musician Miles Davis will be delighted to know that the legend has been recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on March 13, at the famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.
This is a great honour for the man who succeeds to be the sole jazz musician inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame even after fifteen years of his demise. Davis, during his six long decade musical experience revolutionized popular music by fusing jazz with rock & roll, soul, funk and hip hop.
Deemed also 20th century’s most creative artist this recognition is well deserved. Fans should be ecstatic to see his name alongside Black Sabbath, Blondie, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Sex Pistols.
If only he would have lived long enough to see it.
