Hillary Hahn to MozartClassical violinist Hilary Hahn loves to learn & do new things. This vitue is amply demonstrated on her latest recording.

In the recrding she performs four Mozart sonatas with a longtime musical partner, the pianist Natalie Zhu. Hahn and Zhu have played together since their early years at Philadelphia’s Curtis Institute of Music.

And according to Hahn one of the first Mozart pieces they ever played together was the E Minor, K.304 sonata which is also going to be present along with the F Major, K.376; the G Major, K.301 on the record.

This is gonna be a real treat for all those who miss Mozart’s existence today. Honestly I am not very fond of W.A.Mozart’s pieces, apart from the improvisations in the key of E Minor. But give me Chopin anyday, any piece, any moment. John Petrucci of Dream Theatre will second me on this one I guess.
