A couple of weeks ago dogged by perpetual problems guitarist Richie Sambora had to turn to a Los Angeles treatment facility to put his stray nerves in order. And with his discharge it seems that the artist would once again charm us with his mesmerising tunes. However, it hasn’t been learnt that what was the exact nature of his illness? But considering his history of mental agony nothing can be ruled out.

Richie Sambora has completed a program at the UCLA Medical Center. He is doing well and continues to receive outside support.
Year 2007 has brought one problem after another for Sambora. First it was his break-up with actress Denise Richards and then he divorced from Heather Locklear - and then came the worst of all, when his father died of cancer. And when he could not stand it anymore then he decided to seek the services.
Apart form playing guitar for his band Richie is a solo artist as well. He even released two solo albums; Stranger In This Town in 1991, and Undiscovered Soul in 1998. Throughout his career Richie has used a wide range of guitars and amplifiers. In the 80s, Sambora mostly played superstrats- Kramer, Charvel, Jackson, Hamer - as well as modified Les Paul models.
I am really looking forward to his concert that is scheduled for June 19.
