Wham! Star George Michael is too scared of an HIV test because he fears the result may be positive. This gay singer, 44, revealed his fear for the dreaded disease to pal Stephen Fry in a BBC2 documentary on HIV, entitled Stephen Fry - HIV And Me.
The pop singer has not got any test since three years and was also arrested for initiating sex with a police officer in a Beverly Hills, California, public toilet in 1998.
Ross Wilson the producer of the show said:
George says he does not believe in tests. He says he finds the wait for results too harrowing and hasn’t had a test since at least 2004 due to his fears it might be positive.
Michael celebrated his 44th birthday on June 25, at the Berkeley Hotel in London with long-term partner Kenny Ross. The other guests included were Elle MacPherson and Geri Halliwell.
The only thing comes to the mind is that George should have no more sex now if he fears HIV so much.
