Country music fans are invited to visit Nashville, USA during October, to listen to most popular artists perform at The Grand Ole Opry®. The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating the Opry month with star-studded shows and special events throughout the month.

The event is scheduled to kick off on October 2, with the Bill Monroe bluegrass celebration featuring 2007 IBMA entertainer of the year nominee bands including, The Del McCoury, The Grascals, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and Rhonda Vincent among others. The show will be hosted at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
The celebrations will reach a peak during October 19 and 20 when the Opry House celebrates 82 years of entertaining existence. The Opry’s birthday bash will include two signature shows each on Friday and Saturday by Ronnie Milsap, Lorrie Morgan, Travis Tritt, Steve Wariner and Carrie Underwood. In addition to the concerts a full day of carnival type fun activities have been organised on October 20. Activities include: backstage tours, games for children, Opry pie auction among others.
Other performers scheduled for weekend shows throughout the month include Charlie Daniels Band, Little Jimmy Dickens, Vince Gill, Steve Holy, Patty Loveless and Tanya Tucker.
