
Despite her pregnancy and increasing baby bump singer Christina Aguilera is in no mood to give a pause to her career. She has been reported recording a duet with soul singer Aretha Franklin. The news comes from DJ Premier who said: Christina got back at me because she’s doing a duet with Aretha Franklin.
Premier and ‘Stripped’ singer Aguilera,26, had worked together on ‘Back to Basics’. The planned duet of Aretha Franklin and Aguilera will be a part of Franklin’s forthcoming star-studded album titled ‘Jewels in the Crown: All-Star Duets with the Queen’.
The album ‘Jewels in the Crown: All-Star Duets with the Queen’ feature Franklin’s classic duets spanning his career with other acclaimed musicians like Mary J. Blige, Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey, George Michael, Elton John, Gloria Estefan and many more.
The new album will also comprise two live duets one of 1993, and other of 1998. The album’s last duet is Franklin’s “Nessun Dorma”.
The first single of the album is “Put You Up On Game” featuring Fantasia.
The album releases on November 13 by Arista Records.
