When Emmy Rossum is not singing in the opera, she is busy humming some pop tunes and has managed to bring out her new album now. The singer-actress’s first single ‘Slow me Down’ has brought about her debut with a fresh music video.
The new video will see Emmy in a new look all together. Emmy will be seen in a sexy look unlike her subtle popular ‘Phantom of the Opera’ role. In anticipation of her new video of her first single Emmy says,
The concept is about different speeds because the song’s about the pace of life and to create the blur of the world and how overwhelming that can be.
Emmy’s debut album titled ‘Inside Out’ is set for a October 23rd release with its lead single ‘Slow me Down’ marking a July 31st release. Along with Slow Me Down saw the release of two other songs and a documentary on Emmy by Doug Biro that features ‘the making-of the album.
It is clear that Emmy is venturing out in a differnt genre of music all together but the superstar has confirmed that the music album will be a pop one but not in the lines of Britney Spears bubblegum pop. So music lovers across the globe can expect a different kind of pop album.
