‘Not Over You Yet’ singer Diana Ross could not believe that she has been asked to sing at Oscars. She was totally perplexed when she was invited by Academy Awards representatives to sing one of the nominated songs from the musical ‘Dreamgirls’, at the Oscar ceremony scheduled on February 25.
The veteran singer has not yet seen the film based on her rise to fame with ‘The Supremes,’ and would watch the film with her lawyer.
She said,
I haven’t seen it - maybe I should see it with my lawyer.
But Ross is yet to confirm whether she’ll be singing or not.
The soul-singer first gained prominence in the 1960s girl group, ‘The Supremes.’ But she left the band and established hugely-popular solo career in 1970s and 1980s, second only to Paul McCartney.
