Even after their split up in 2005 Destiny’s Child is still remembered by all. The band was recently given the honour of a star in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
They started early and they had their share of troubles but they have come a long way.
Formed in Houston, TX, in 1990 when eight-year-old Beyonce Knowles met LaTavia Robertson at an auditon and along with LaToya Luckett were later recruited by Music World’s Management, Matthew Knowles, Beyonce’s father. Kelly Rowland joined the girls in 1992 . LaTavia Robertson and LeToya Luckett left the group in 1996 after which Michelle Williams and dancer Farrah Franklin joined. But Farrah Franklin left soon after . Finally,Destiny’s Child got their big break in 1997 when they were offered a record contract by Columbia.
