
This Christmas ‘Stranger In My House’ R&B singer Tamia Washington will give her fans a new Christmas album called ‘A Gift Between Friends’. The CD will be more an EP rather than a full-length studio album, as the latter will make to the stores by next year only.
The EP, a follow up of 2006’s ‘Between Friends’, her independently released fourth studio album will comprise of five to seven songs. From these two songs will be Christmas tracks. The Christmas album slated for a release on October 2, will be followed by a longer version of the EP that she plans to release in 2008 with some fresh stuff.
Till date, her album Between Friends has sold more than 250,000 copies in the U.S., 115,000 in South Africa, and more than 470,000 worldwide.
Tamia recently covered Justin Timberlake’s hit ‘SexyBack’ for the promotion ‘Between Friends’ album at a concert in Atlanta during February.
Tamia, 32, is married to NBA basketball player Grant Hill and currently resides with him and their two children in Phoenix, Arizona.
