The cat is finally out of the bag now. Showbiz world’s best kept secret is now public knowledge. It has been confirmed by the OK! magazine that the American pop singer and songwriter Christina Aguilera is pregnant. In a recent interview with the executive producer of this Sunday’s Emmy Awards, the magazine learnt that Aguilera and her music marketing husband Jordan Bratman are expecting.
The confirmation didn’t come all at once; it was a freak slip that has now let the music world know about the singer’s pregnancy. The OK! magazine was recently in discussion with the Emmy’s executive producer Ken Ehrlic on how Christina would be performing teh classic tune Steppin’ Out at the ceremony when he casually remarked:
We’re sensitive to the pregnancy, but I can’t wait for her to sing.
But Christina Aguilera refuses to confirm her pregnancy. The singer who has super hit albums such as Stripped and Back to Basics to her CV has long kept her pregnancy under cover and even now has denied to comment on the matter. But Paris Hilton does admit that Christina is pregnant. She wished well for the American pop star and says:
Congratulations to the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world.
Aguilera married Bratman in November 2005 in the Napa Valley after starting to date in early 2002. Although there was a rumour that the relationship was starting to reveal cracks in the wake of a shocking allegation by producer Dallas Austin that Christina had sex with him and several of his friends for which he later apologized, the couple stayed together and the news that they are going to be parents sooner rather than later has come as a good news to all Christina Aguilera fans.
