Troubled Britney Spears is ready to make a comeback by singing a duet with Marilyn Monroe.

Britney is being lined up to join the late singer in a rendition of an unreleased Marilyn song Down Boy.
The Toxic singer is even said to be planning to dress like Marilyn. Britney will wear a platinum wig and 50s-style white dress for the video shoot.
Lance Bass - a former member of Britney’s ex-lover Justin Timberlake’s band NSYNC, has reportedly secured the rights to the song and thinks it would be perfect for Britney.
A source said:
Lance wants Britney to sing with Marilyn on the track, like Natalie Cole did on Unforgettable with her dad Nat King Cole.
Britney, mother of two, recently had a spell in rehab, and is said to be a huge fan of actress Marilyn, who died of an apparent drug overdose in 1962 at the age of 36.
The Singer is currently working hard on a new album planned for release in October. And she is setting up dates for a comeback tour across America.
Britney’s spokesman was not available for comment last night.
