
After the gruesome attack on August 29, 2005 by Hurricane Katrina New Orleans finally hosts again The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The festival started from Friday and will run for a week. It began with the legend Dylan who swayed tens of thousands to the tunes of his earlier tracks. Many artists too, around 4,000 will be performing too and big names like Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello and the Dave Matthews Band are expected. It will also feature many local artists like Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, and the Meters.
