Teen pop duo Aly and AJ’s (Also known by real names-Alyson and Amanda Michalka) third studio album titled ‘Insomniatic’ will have its deluxe edition released on November 6. The sisters debut album ‘Into the Rush’ went platinum in May, and the second album Insomniatic is also going the same track. It has been warmly received, as its first single ‘Potential Breakup Song’ has become a favorite of many.
The new addition has a CD containing the 15 tracks with hit ‘Potential Breakup Song’, a bonus DVD with the duo’s My Super Sweet 16 & 18 Birthday Party Review, My Super Sweet 16 & 18 Birthday Party, Sisterhood TV Show, and also MTV Cribs. So it’s going to be a great buy for the teen’s fans.
‘Insomniatic’ was released on July 10, 2007 in USA and debuted at No. 15 in the USA Billboard Top 200 album chart. The album sold around 39,000 copies in its first week, and became Aly & AJ’s highest debut till date. Currently its 180,000 copies have been sold.
The two sisters Alyson, 18, and Amanda, 16, have also starred in TV movie ‘Super Sweet 16: The Movie’ as Taylor Tiara and Sara Conners respectively. On July 8, the film was premiered on MTV.
