According to the latest news, American Idol host Ryan Seacrest confessed that he and Paula Abdul are not in speaking terms.



Seacrest told People magazine last week about his relationship with Abdul ‘I don’t know what the deal is. It’s very awkward.’



But Paula replies to the allegations saying, ‘Reports of a feud are ridiculous. We are one funny dysfunctional family. There’s nothing but love.’



But hostility between the two had been brewing right from March 30 episode where host Jay Leno joked about Abdul’s ‘loopy’ behavior in an Idol episode, to which Seacrest replied, ‘Well, have you listened to her album?’ Seacrest’s reply to Leno’s remarks whether Paula has been drinkinwas rather sarcastic, ‘Hey look, I don’t look in their cups to see what’s sitting before them on that table. But at times I feel like we have reeled her in.’



Just after that during her April 10 appearance, Abdul was mocking rumours about Seacrest dating Teri Hatcher saying ‘And honestly, do you think Teri Hatcher is that desperate of a housewife?’
