Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg, the organization that is at the heart of keeping Mozart’s heritage alive for audiences today and who took the biggest challenge to create a link with contemporary music and Mozart’s music by announcing the project, which is being undertaken in conjunction with the Packard Humanities Institute and is co-sponsored by David Packard, that will allow anyone, anywhere, to download Mozart’s music scores free of charge now uncovered a new piece of piano music by Mozart in the depths of Austria.
An unknown piano composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was recently discovered and is believed to have been written when the composer was a young boy. The music piece was uncovered in Salzburg earlier this week.
Earlier this year, a piano composition was discovered in an antique book of sheet music, that experts believe it was written by Mozart. The book, which is marked with the dates of when the genius was alive, holds several short “piano pieces.”
This year marked Mozart’s 250 birthday anniversary and the year long birthday party is ending on a high note with the musical scores of his works which is believed to have been written by the composer himself. The composition is believed to be one of his early writings from the ages of 6 and 10.
