A multi-platinum selling English pop singer and writer, Sophie Ellis Bextor has recently confirmed that he next album will be a Greatest Hits compilation due for release by year end. Bextor’s official site reveals that a brand new single will come out in November and the greates hits album will follow after that.
In great anticipation Bextor said,
It feels like a really good thing to do. I’ve been doing this for ten years now, so it feels like I can do the greatest hits and then start the next chapter.
Witht the announcement of her compilation, came a statement that no further singles will be lifted from her album ‘Trip the Light Fantastic’. Reports also have it that Calvin Harris, Kylie Minogue’s producer will join Bextor to create a ‘magic song’.
There is a talk about her fame single ‘Groovejet’ will be featured in the greates hits compilation. The album will also include her latest hit singles as well. A move which marks the excellence of a singer, should do a great deal to Bextor’s career. The much anticipated compilation will be awaited by many in the international music circuit.
